Date/time: The meet schedule will be sent out frequently & for each specific meet a few days prior; all meets are on Sunday, mostly 11:30-3:30ish.
Locations: Every week the location varies. Directions will be emailed before the meet. We will meet as a team at the meet location.
Age groups: The meets are broken down by the following ages/distances (AGES AS OF DECEMBER 31, 2019).
If you finished running, you are encouraged to stay at the meet to cheer on your teammates, but not required.
Cost: there is a small fee to compete; usually the cost is 5$-7$ per child.
Reward: Several meets give out medals for placing, ribbons for running etc… We will give out “shoe tokens” to every child that participates in a meet.
What to bring: Snacks, drinks, weather appropriate clothing, & chairs.
What to wear: We provide a singlet that can be worn as the top, and if you choose, you can wear a T-shirt or long sleeve shirt under it, with black shorts, tights or sweats.
What to expect: A variety of courses; Approximately 30-60 kids per age group; all kids being at different skill level; EVERYONE IS WELCOME & ENCOURAGED TO COME!
