Annual Coaches Charity Game

CMRC VS BCRC - Jan 27

The 4th annual Coaches Charity game featuring CMRC coaches against Ballenger Creek coaches will be played Sunday January 27th from 4:30-6:30 at Tuscarora High School.

The game is played as a way to promote good sportmanship between the Carroll Manor and Ballenger organizations but more importantly as a way to raise funds for selected charities.  This year two charities have been selected - one for a local coach who passed away last year and the other for the Save the Next Girl charity in honor of Annalee Marshall.  All gate proceeds (approximately $2/person or $5/family) go straight to the charity along with donations from the CMRC and Ballenger organizations.  Last year we raised ~ $1,600.

Now, while this game may well be televised nationally ( we are negotiating right now with all major networks) you really don't want to miss a chance to see in person many of the CMRC coaches in action (or at least gasping for breath).  Come and watch as we demonstrate how not to play the game - the kids will be amazed that we can't really do what we tell them is so easy.  And, not that we are counting, but we do hold a 2-1 advantage over Ballenger and we will need plenty of support to bring home another win.

If anyone would like to sing (a capella) the national anthem before the game, please let me know right away.

So, remember Jan. 27, 4:30-6:30 at THS, please come out and support a worthy cause and your CMRC coaches.
