Welcome to CMRC's Cross Country!
It is our mission to enhance the health of our youth in our community by improving their fitness levels and fostering their self confidence through cross country running.
We carry out this mission through a season of carefully planned practices with attention to individual goals as well as team work. We focus on safe, proper running techniques, improving endurance and fostering the love of running in a fun, non judgemental and motivating atmosphere.
Registration for the 2015 season is now OPEN!! With over 100 runners last year it's a very exciting time to be involved with our program.
Our program takes a laid-back approach to introducing children to the sport of distance running and to give them the opportunity to compete within their age group. We teach the most fundamental movement for most all sports, correct running form.
Practices are held on Tuesdays at Ballenger Creek Park & Fridays at Carroll Manor Elementary School. Both practices start at 6:00 PM and end at 7:15PM.
We look forward to seeing many returning families as well as new families.
If you have any questions regarding registering for our program please contact the Cross Country Commissioner Brian Hohl.
